Welcome to Cleveland Youth Softball!

Our softball league plays in conjunction with Clackamas County Girls Softball Association (CCGSA).

This Fast-pitch softball program is for girls 1st – 8th grade. A variety of teams may be formed based on age level and depending on interest and registration. 8U utilizes a pitching machine, 10U and up are kid-pitch games. Depending on the team, there may be an opportunity to compete in weekend tournaments.

Practices generally start the week after Spring Break, however some of the older teams may begin practice earlier depending on schedules and field availability.  Practices will be held in April and will be held twice a week, with games beginning in early May and will be 2 games per week (Mon-Thur).  For 8U, once games begin, practices will be limited. 10U, 12U and 14U will generally have one practice per week once games begin.

At the end of the season there is a Tournament that your child’s team can participate in through CCGSA, depending on if your whole team is available.  It is usually the 2nd or 3rd weekend in June.  Your coach will have more information.

We haven’t done skills assessments in the past, but may choose to do so depending on how many register for the league.  You’ll be notified once the registration is closed if there will be a skills assessment.
